Sleep
|
| I love sleeping. But I like staying up late, and I like waking up early,
and *you* tell my boss that I'll be napping from 12 to 2. This is probably
my most challenging personal project at the moment. |

Recovery
|
My pet box since 1994, sparc209, is now up and running. You
are most likely viewing this page from that box. I need to find more ram for
it and I need to add a couple of scsi controllers and disks. I also need to
get my P133 running windows for those less digitally enlightened in my home.

Bicycle
|
| I ride about 8 miles each way to work 3 or 4 days a week. My bike's a
Voodoo Hoodoo with midrange components. Gotta upgrade the tires, shocks,
and front derailer before too long, but it gets the job done for now.

Music

| I'm a drummer who sings and plays guitar. I've play with a bluesy,
jazzy, funky rock project, Second
Set. I also recently started playing tabla, and taking lessons at
Ali Akbar College of Music, though I've
had to put that on hold while I concentrate on the band. |

Motorcycle
|
| I rode my old Virago 750 from Tallahassee to New Orleans to New York to
Seattle to San Francisco, 9000+ miles in 30 days. Not a sputter. I'm currently
looking for a small bike to teach my girlfriend on. I'll be in the market for a
bigger bike in the near future, though. Probably end up with a Vulcan 1500
Classic or Drifter, or some kind of HD Softail. Possibly a Valkyrie, but I
don't like the way the engine sticks out so far on this beast. |
