It's stupid, I know. But there it is: an urge to make
Second Set Red Devil Wednesdays a themed affair. How about
Funkalicious Groove-a-Billy? Get there early, since we'll be
opening for Pedals Sped.
We're back at the coolest place anywhere on Clement between
4th and 6th Avenues! We've got the headling spot from 11 to
closing. Playing just before us are none other than LUCE!
Bring your dancing shoes.

We just got asked to do this show, and isn't it exciting?
New veues are so much fun!
1301 5th St, Santa Monica, CA 90401 (310) 394-4647
All Second Set, All Night Long. The previous two shows in
LA were just a warm up -- we'll groove the paint off the walls.
Check it out if you're in the area. This will be our official
SoCal CD release.
1301 5th St, Santa Monica, CA 90401 (310) 394-4647
Road trip! First of three shows in LA this weekend.
Tongue and Groove (formerly Mick's Lounge)
Saturday, June 16, 2001
2513 Van Ness @ Union, SF (415) 928-0404
The CD release party date is booked! With LUCE opening up
for us again (due to popular demand) this looks to be the
definitive Second Set show. We'll be giving away CDs, shirts,
and old microphone stands. Dig it!
If you've checked out the Wednesday shows at the Red Devil,
you're already at this show. But if you haven't... well, come
see how velvetty the Lounge can be with Second Set oozing from
the walls.
We'll be opening for our good friends Five-7 to celebrate
the release of their new CD "Live at The Red Devil Lounge."
Goes to show you never know when you're on Candid
Microphone...
Witness a couple of firsts for Second Set. The
first show of the first year of the second millenium,
and the first show at Slim's. We'll pretty much
straight out of the studio, but we just couldn't
wait for the 26th. See Boomshanka
and the Shane Dwight Band play with
us and enjoy -- you know we will!
We're going to remember this date for a long time.
The Last Day is one of our favorite places to see
bands, so you can imagine how we feel about finally
playing at the classiest joint in the Richmond.
We've been planning this event for months. The
Slow Poisoners, Five 7, and Boomshanka will join us for a
day-long picnic and music festival -- Out of Doors!
Ironically, the Wednesday shows at the Red Devil
have been some of the most packed and fun. But don't
take our word...!

3251 Scott @ Chestnut, SF (415) 776-1928
Wow, the last time we played here might have well
been one of our most interesting shows ever. We're
going to have to try to outdo ourselves this time
around...
1353 Grant, between Green & Vallejo, SF (415)675-5996
Our first North Beach appearance. Did you know
this place used to be the Coffee Gallery, the famous
beat hangout? Bring your funny hats and your appetite
for more Second Set.
YAFNATU! (Yet Another Friday Night At The Utah.)
This is one of those places in the city that could be
a tourist trap -- but isn't. Peep it out with us on a
Friday night and see what we mean.
This is becoming one of our favorite places to play. Wind
down with us after this 4th of July, and it just might become
one of your favorite places, too.
Warm up for the weekend at the best club in Fairfax. It's
less than 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, so get out of
the city for a while and see a good show.
This is such a sweet club, we're gonna do it
again...
Joe lost his voice the day before this gig and the
whole show was us improvising on our setlists. Very
much fun, we think, and we think you
agreed. Thanks!
One of the more interesting live music clubs in the
city. Come out for good food and drinks
Mardi Gras 2000
Saturday, March 4, 2000 at 8:00 p.m.
A huge party at
Broadway
Studios to celebrate the launch of xmarksthespot. RSVP by
sending an email
to party@xmarksthespot.com -- and get there early, or the
place might be too full to accomodate you!
Last time, we were $4 short of breaking Notes'
all-time sales record. The place was so jammed, there
were people dancing outside, looking in the windows. Come
early this time to get a good seat!
(Note, 2/27/2000) The sales record was busted, by no
small margin!
